Children love their hair being done for a special occasion, and their parents love having a break from doing their children’s’ hair for a week! This is a good reason (and valid selling point) when parties are booked, since the hair-styles I create are very neat and can last up to a week. In this way the party-goers who attend a weekend event can usually show other friends their hair once they return to school. I am either: asked to do the children’s’ hair during the parties, in conjunction with other party-entertainers, or instead I can complete the styling pre-party if the children are due to go on to another venue.
In general, a 1hour booking will provide beautiful braiding for four or five children, I normally allow about 15 minutes per child when factoring-in their choice-of-ribbon(s), and hair-style using a 3 strand plait variation (eg French-plait, Tiara-plait, Dutch-plait, Rope-plait,). I also offer 4-and 5-strand combinations – which particularly suit longer and thicker hair – though more time must be allowed to complete these.
All children's parties are charged at an hourly rate (within the guidelines of four/five children per hour) and a deposit is required to confirm booking.
Please note: If the booking is cancelled less than 7 days before the event, then deposits are non-refundable.
